    regarding grounds kit

    Hi there!

I want to install a grounds kit for my E30, but so far all the offerings I see are like HKS purple cables or stuff like that. I don't know about what you think but I like to see the engine bay as clean as possible and avoid too much color. I feel those purple cables will look out of place...

So, my question is, recommendations for grounds kit with black cables?

    Thanks!

Check out my thread on the topic.

I too agree that most of the stuff in the market place is cheap, stupid color, lightweight garbage with poor quality control. My cables are always hand made using 99.99% copper parts, highest grade copper, insulation, heat shrink and made to handle hundreds of amps of current.

For our cars, I suggest replacing the engine ground cable with a heavy duty if you plan on using any after market electronics. I also suggest you swap your OEM alternator cable for one that is of heavier gauge. I have noticed faster crank times of the motor (starter can pull more electrical current) and more stable charging for cars with sub woofers and after market electronics. I've even made hood to chassis cables for some customers.
