Central lock system doesn't operate the trunk lock

My car did this when I first bought it... check the lock actuator in the trunk behind the carpet space... directly inside where the lock is... there will be a small bent piece of metal that connects the lock to the actuator... check and see if that piece is dangling loose...
it sometimes comes off or could have been taken off (as was my case) by the previous owner in order to seperate the trunk lock and door locks... in this case the actuator being used (via the key) would STILL lock and unlock the rest of the car W/O locking the trunk... its not hard to fix...
If you have a keyless entry like I do sometimes you DONT WANT your trunk unlocked at the same time... if I lock the trunk manually just having my keyless or unlocking the doors (via broken window) doesn't allow entry into the trunk... this lesson saved me a sub and amp setup about 8 months ago...
