    radio code not working?

is there any other reset for the OEM radio if the radio code no longer works? I tried disconnecting the battery already.

Are you leaving the car on for at least an hour before you try to enter the code?

Yes, It usually takes an hour before the car is able to take the code. Leave the car in the on position for an hour or do it after a long drive and it should take the code.

I don't know about all stereos, but my radio manual says that if you put in the wrong code x number of time (3 or 4 I think), then it won't accept any codes until the radio has been on for an hour continuously.

Exactly what has to happen here?

Car not running in the key on position? or can it be not running?
                Radio on or off?
                1 hour.

                  Or take a long drive

My radio code didn't work for me when I first got the car either. I'm not sure how long the battery has to be disconnected but mine was disconnected for several days while I worked on my instrument cluster and the radio code worked perfectly after that.
