In for pics, i have yet to see a clean door install.

this guy did it to his m3, but it looks so wrong

That's a pretty simple, clean, install IMO...

I went with a MS-8 and kept the speakers in the stock locations.

...wanted to keep my interior as stock looking as possible...:p

        Customers car, sorry, not mine.

They did sound really good, and of course were amplified. Pretty sure they were 4 ohm though...

Oh hell, that was like 2005 or so. I know there are pics, the owner of the car posted them, but I have no clue.

Where this has the woofer is where they fit, just a speaker in a door, nothing special. Was flush on the panel, no visible changes

Yeah, the 'verts have even more room, the car I did was a 2 door late model, it was a squeeze.

Guys, grab a speaker and pull a door panel. With the cover off the door, roll the window up and down, open and close the door...there is lots of room.

GL and if any of you do decide to try this, LMK if you get stuck, am always here to help.

I think I am going to mount these in my door . I'll post some pics of the operation,
but it won't be too soon yet . Mine are Polk MM651 2.7 ohm . Mounting depth is 2 and 7/8 " .

There's a door speaker pod in this install.
