Interior lights not working, cluster lights not working! Stumped!

    SOLUTION: BAD (HEAD)LIGHT SWITCH

Damn, I have been spending a lot of time in the electrical section..fml

My main two bulbs for the cluster are not working, all other "attention" bulbs are fine. SI battery is fine and lights up too. All the instrument panel lights are not working either.

I have only one clue, I replaced the bulb for the rear defroster and it worked (bulb lit). If I turn it on, all the instrument panel lights work, except for the cluster. But now the rear defroster light does not work as well!!!

    What I have done
    Replaced all fuses
Replaced all the bulbs with working or new ones

If you replaced the fuses 10, 12, and 21, and replaced the two large bulbs behind the cluster and still no illumination?

In this case, I would say you main cluster circuit board could be the culprit. This board can develop solder joint cracks and broken traces over time. This is due to decades of vibration, over tightening the cluster halves, or smacking the dash.

But make sure fuse 10, 12, and 21 are replaced and still good, even after you replaced them.

Changed all the fuses, first thing I did.

Checked all the solders and refluxed any that looked dead, it still didn't work.

HOWEVER, I did fix the problem by replacing the light switch, a member on here was kind enough to give me one. the knob was the problem. All my lights work now 👍
      Thanks for the input!
