    Wiring in 2nd elec. fan

Hey guys, I'm looking for some confirmation on my plans. I currently have a Spal 16" pusher wired up to the orignal aux fan wiring (plus a Spal selectable speed controller) to cool my M30b35. I need to add a small 10" puller in order to keep things cool when the AC is on, it's 90F+ and I'm in stop-and-go. Here's my plan:

Use stock aux fan swtich wiring (using e36 80/88C switch) to trigger a new add'l relay for the new fan. It would be independant of the stock aux fan relay so as not to overload it.

Sounds simple, right? But I'm electricaly retarded and want to make sure I'm not going to overload the switch or something crazy like that (is that even possible?)

Use the OEM switch to trigger a new relay. The OEM switch would go to one side of the relay coil, chassis ground to the other side.

The output 30, would go to your new fans. The 87 pin should be wired directly to the battery or junction block with a wire and fuse that is appropriate for your new fans.

In this fashion, your fans would only turn on when you press the recir button on your dash. You could also tap into the coolant temp switch in your radiator for temp controlled fans.
