cluster lights dont work! (dimming lights for night)

hey guys.. last week i took my cluster out and tighten the screw on the back of my gas guage. ever since my dimming lights dont work. so i cant see at nights... they work fine everywhere else just not the cluster.. can someone show me exactly which lights they are and what my issue could be?

There are two larger lights in the back of the cluster that twist out, the housings are brown. Those lights are what make the cluster glow when the headlights are on.

I don't know what your problem could be, but take out the cluster and re-check your connections.

Check the little light right behind where the dimmer is. Mine had the same issue and I replaced that and everything was fine again.

I pulled out those brown lights and out them back in.. nothing.. don't look to be out. I'll replace the lights and see.. one was working and after I swapped them.. now isn't after I swapped them.back.

Those lights are notorious for going out when removing the cluster. The shock of bumping around the cluster while removing and disassembling it will cause the filaments to break. 90% of the time, the bulbs just need to be replaced.

They are 3W and can be bought at any auto parts store, very common bulb.

Make sure you don't use higher wattage bulbs or you will melt things. 3W ONLY!
