Has anyone wired up E36 heated seats?

It seems that I need to get the E36 heated seat switches and just run 12V to them. Is it that simple?

Is it possible/recommended to use E30 switches?

I think that would work, JUST NEEDS 12V TO POWER THEM UP AND FUSE IT. OR JUST GET THE WIRE HARNESS FOR THE E30 HEATED SEATS AND RETROFIT THE E36 SWITCHES TO IT.

You need e34 switches, and then individually test each wire on the e30 harness, the colours aren't always the same.
