2amp inline fuse for heater valve

My heater shut-off valve is always open. I narrowed the problem down to the blue wire from the heater control switch to the shut-off valve. Power won't get to the valve.
ETM says there is a 2amp inline fuse on that wire but I can't find it. Does anyone know where the hell it is?
    Thanks in advance!

It's there on the side. Get down there and look up. It's a small festoon type of fuse if I remember correctly.

Up where? By the valve? I can see something there but it looks like a piece of tape they used to wrap the cables. Is that the fuse? Looks like I need to shrink to quarter of my size and grow ten more fingers to replace that thing...

Oh man...can't find the pic...but that son of a bitch is in a separate fuse holder within a foot or so of the valve, inside the dash, sort of next-to-but-under the radio location.

It is almost impossible to find...wish I had that pic still.

Good luck and if you drink beer, grab a sixer.

When I wiggle the wires by the valve I can here some knocking noise. I guess it's the fuse holder hitting something... I'll try to hunt it down tomorrow and take a picture of it.

Ok! I found the damn thing! I took 2 pictures to show. It was tucked up above the HVAC box.

And another one taken from a bit further away so people can identify where it is.

The red circle shows the fuse and the blue one the connector for the valve.

Now it is working but after about a half an hour driving with the dial set to cold the pipes were only warm but the valve was very hot. Is that normal for the coil to get so hot I can't touch it?

            Thanks for the help, guys!

That doesn't sound right. The valve should never get any hotter than the coolant. I'd guess on shorted windings in the solenoid, which is probably why the fuse blew.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

That's what I was suspecting as well... Junkyard! Here I come! Again!

Update: now my heater core is leaking..... This sh!t never ends! The only good thing is that last time when I was at the yard looking for a better heater valve (very long shot) I found a barely used core. It was still white inside with absolutely no deposit. But I still need to take this apart for the seventh time now...

                  Interesting observation:
The heater core only seems to leak when I turn the knob to cold and the valve is closed. With the valve open there is not a drip of coolant visible anywhere. Not even in the little drain pipe.

Because the stupid valve shuts off the return flow and that leaves you with a pressurised heater core. I hate that shitty valve. Deleted mine and fitted a FORD valve which bypasses the heater core completely when set to cold.

Car runs cooler instantly and heater works better.
