I think I might grab that amp as well. Considered using my Boston 4-channel from my WRX but the subwoofer impedence will be wrong.

Does this fit electric top verts? If not, what if the motor is removed (non-functioning)? Also, does this one have a similar port setup as V1? By that I mean, will there be cutting, sealing etc.?

Yes....and yes.

if you convert your power top vert into a manual, this will fit.

Just so you know, we also make a power top version too, if you want to keep the power top intact.

Both require the same setup, its the only way I have found to get bass into the car.
