Hacked my own deck!

I got a c33 deck off ebay a while back, but the code they gave me would not work.

The code they gave me was "46221", so I was like.. well maybe its like 46621, so I try that, dosnt work. Im about to try 46211, but I accidently typ 42 for the first two digits, damnit, I type in 42111, and bam it unlocks and works!

I disconnected the power a couple times just to make sure something else didnt happen. Every time I type in 46221 it wont work, but if I type in 42111 it unlocks every time.

Just dumb luck I guess

Anyways, I have it hooked up on my desk just testing with it, im going to figure out how to get my ipod attached to it.

Does anyone know if the telephone pin mutes the stereo for a phone call, or sends the voice over the stereo?

hehe, yeah I have no intrest in the tape function. Only the 4 speaker ouputs and cd changer input.

The stock e30 deck is a pile of trash IMO

if you got that from a yard, i'd shoot them an email and tell them about the mix up, they probably got the codes mixed up on another deck, so you got someone elses code..... it's a possibility
