I mean the obvious would lead me to believe the instrument cluster lights, but I just want to make sure. The right half of my dashboard lights do not illuminate. Wanted to see if this relay has anything to do with it. Thanks
Can someone tell me what this relay (instrument light relay) control?

That is primarily for check control bulb out warnings, etc. It's unrelated to your cluster light problem. Pull your cluster and replace the bad bulbs."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

I don't know what that is, but it won't be the cause of half of your cluster instrument lights not working. Those are all powered from the dimmer in the headlight switch. I suspect that there is a problem on the main PCB in the cluster as I only recall a single connection to power the lights. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

thanks for clearing that up man! I'm pretty sure I messed something up other than the bulbs tho. I'm pulling the cluster out Saturday, and gonna do just that....but last night I went and tried to swap the euro clock bulb with a known good one, and got no light.....unless the power of this light is dependent on the right cluster lights to work too.www.instagram.com/snwmble

from my understanding that headlight switch (when it goes bad) would cut light to the entire cluster & center console. That isn't the case with my issue, but I guess anything could be faulty at this point. I'm thinking there is something up with the cluster too. Thanks for the help guys. I'll update this once I pinpoint the issue.I don't know what that is, but it won't be the cause of half of your cluster instrument lights not working. my right side doesnt illuminate, and I changed the bulbs and holders. I was thinking about just wiring a jumper from the left to the right, but I'm hesitant. I also thought about doing the LED strip mod, but i might not like it...

Took the cluster apart, and ended up frying the cluster. See burn marks below. My buddy had a spare one, so we popped that in, and it was good to go. The culprit of the short was from a harness I had plugged into the euro clock.Interested to know what you found...
