    Help! TR1008 CD Changer

I'm looking for help with wiring a TR1008 CD changer ...

I have a CM5908 Infrared slot head unit and managed to find a TR1008 (12 disc) changer on ebay ... unfortunately the car (a '92 325i Vert) does not have the pre-wired cable ... and of course the cable is NLA.

Does anyone else have experience of connecting the 2? Or indeed a picture of where this changer mounts?

I've searched for hours without much luck!

    Thanks!

If I remember correctly, and I could be totally wrong...

But that cable is exactly an Alpine M-bus cable. However, I suppose the later e30's could have use Ai-net but i doubt it. Try searching for a Alpine M-bus cable and see if it looks like it will mate to your radio and changer. GL

Thanks for the reply, on the CD changer end it's certainly an 8 pin M-Bus connection ... the problem is on the back of the CM9508 it's a 13 pin connector.
