What is a good skip-free head unit?

    For what it's worth, it seems like it takes your car flipping over to get a CD to skip in an Eclipse head unit. Problem is the illumination issue... :(
    I retired my E30 for now...

        thats not been my experience. i have a high end eclipse, i forget the number but i paid 600 for it 5 years ago. it skips fairly regularily in my super duty pick up. maybe suspension in the eclipse decks has improved in the last 5 years but im not impressed with this deck. otherwise it works well and sounds nice. i wouldnt buy another though

          anyone have any experience with the Nak CD400 skipping or not skipping. THR CABs kill cd players.
