What E36 window switches do I have?

I want to install some E36 switches in my E30. I bought a set of E36 switches, but they don't look like either the white or the blue switches. And the wiring doesn't match up. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks!

It looks like you purchased a one-touch e36 window switch. You can tell if its one-touch by the small base or if you feel two clicks when you push down on either the up or down arrows.

If you wanted a simple install without the luxury of the one touch open/close function, you wanna get the big white/big blue base e36 switches which looks like this.



Then you would wire them up accordingly. I suggest using twist caps to temporarily (or permanently) wire them together just to make sure they work and it makes it easy to undo and switch wires and what not. I just kept them with the twist caps which works fine but doesn't look pretty lol.
