    325i SI Board into E

Hey all I know when you go to the 327i swap you need the I tach and what not. Will the gauge cluster from the I plug into the e harness? I am asking if it's plug and play or do you physically put the I tach into the e cluster? I am going to have to get another SI board it looks like (changed the batteries in mine still doesn't work) so I was wondering if I could just shabang it with an I setup.

Just swap the coding plug if the tachs are both 7k redline.

All other connectors are the same from e to i.

My tach is the 5k redline Greg, would I need to change anything here? And is the coding plug the white plug that comes out of the front of the si board when you get the cover off. I am referring to the pill type plug.

Yup, coding plug is in lower right corner in late model clusters.

Just swap the 5k tach for the 7k tach and the coding plug too. That will work.
