    indicator flashing fast

guys, would a rear side marker bulb being out cause the same side turn signal to blink overly fast?

Possible. I once had a similar problem, and when replaced a bulb that had burned out, the problem went away.

no , the flasher is a load sensing device and is only tied into the two turn signal bulbs on each side . so if it doesnt get the correct load (ie flashes fast)there is either a bad ground or burned out bulb ,or the wrong bulb is installed (wrong resistance filament therefore incorrect load).
a bad ground either in the bulb socket or in the lens assbly/connector can cause the voltage to find a path to ground thru the park lamp (usually easy to tell if this is occuring as that lamp will be very dim when operating and both filaments of the bulb will be glowing)

check that all 4 bulbs are correct, clean the bulb sockets, also check the pins in connectors carefully for corrosion/loose pins
