How about this deck (Clairon DXZ535)

i just found out formyself, that i can't run a sub with this deck...as it only has 4 rca outputs, what should i do i don't really want to spend more money then i did already. any insights? they fooled me with there sub control :evil:

also do you think i really need to run subs, i just want good quality i don't need anything to pound, a really good amp and component speaker, do you think that would make up for no subs? i don';t listen to rap, only hard rock, metal, classic rock, some punk.

what do you think i should do...and advise products to go with it.

You can most definitely run subs, but you need an amp that will split the rear pre-out signal. My Alpine V12 does it, and I would assume that many others do as well. The only downside is that you cannot fade-out the rear speakers without also fading-out the sub.
