Alright what I did was jumped terminal 15 on C101 to ground. I turned the key on and the blower fan works properly, but the windows didn't come on.. Is that what I'm looking for? Also the top terminal on the starter, with the 8mm nut is very loose, and with my last starter I aciddently loosened it all the way out, never to work again. Should it be slightly loose?1991 325i Calypso Coupe

The top terminal on the solenoid is what I'm talking about.
It was backed out and flopping around so it probably is what made the fan flicker on and off. This exact thing happened to my last starter and I mistakingly backed out that stud and never had the starter worked again.1991 325i Calypso Coupe

Cool...but just so you know, there have been LOTS of bad reman Bosch units.
Don't confuse "new" for "tested good", especially when dealing with E30s. I tell people all the time "New means new, good means good, that is why there are two different words already made up"
If you haven't actually tested it, don't trust that it's good.
So, now you have tested and have a solid ground signal on K5 and K7, your HVAC fan is working but windows are not...correct?
We can assume you already checked stuff like the window breaker switch, and the key was on, all that kind of thing, right?
Step 1 is the easiest: pull your window breaker switch and use a testlight to see if you have power at that switch, then check fuses. If you have power going through the breaker switch and still no windows, then you get to look at the switches themselves.Comment
