    Getting alot of electrical interferance

So I recently put all different stereo components in my car that as follows.

    Alpine 9807 HU
    Polk 5.25 components up front
Polk/Momo 6.5 coax on the rear deck
Alpine V-power amp power front and rear

Now I've set up a few good sounding stereos in the past with little issues and I never really noticed it before but I'm getting alot of electrical wine and feedback through the speakers? So much that I'm contemplating taking it all as it's unpleasant to drive as is.

The remote turn on and RCA's are run down the left side of the car and the speaker wire for the fronts is also on the left. Battery is in the trunk so the power cable is only a few feet long as well as the ground. Did I make an easy mistake or is there somewhere I can start looking? It's getting really annoying.

Run your speaker wires, on the opposite side of the rca cables and spread the remote wire too. Sometimes that's the trick or, you may need more than 1 ground for the stereo.

    Good luck.

It's definetely isolated to the amp because I ran it without an amp for awhile with no issues.

Try to grind off the paint, where you have ground for your amp. I did this too, to help reduce engine noise. You can check out my set up on the weekend, when we go for the Milky Way cruise.

I started to dig into this today. After remember how badly the PO hacked the wiring, how bad I had to make sense of it and going through the mess of wires in the dash I decided to skip the amp all together, pulled all the speaker wires out and ran everything off the headunit through the factory wires. I kept the RCA's in because I want to put a small sub back in but was just fed up with chasing the electrical whine. Sounds just as good as it used to!
