For those who installed the RMT200 radio - are they functionally the same whether purchased here for a US(?) market or abroad for overseas market?

Well, technically - I don't think they were really meant for the US market... dealer option for European cars if I remember.
That said - everything that should work does seem to work over here in the States. Unfortunately, it would seem the price may have increased dramatically on these units as of late...-Geno

The RMT-200 is made by Clarion and in terms of the electronics, it is most likely the same regardless of where you buy it. Different versions probably differ in terms of the language that the UI text is displayed in, which may not be user-changeable. Other than that, I don't think that any of them will have any functional limitations or extra functionality relative to one another.Comment
