My crossover has a knob to control sub levels, lots of amps these days do too. I have a simple round knob just left of my shifter. Allows rapid adjustment of boom.

That Kenwood EQ is a worthless piece of shit. I reserve that judgement only for the most deserving of products.

I have installed literally dozens of those turds...absolute junk. Will fuck up the sound of even the best of systems.

If you want to know why, let us start a new thread on the sonic dangers of tantalum capacitors and hysteresis distortions. I will explain this shit....your head will hurt.

As a long term geek with no life outside of stereo crap for ummm...all of my life, just trust me on this.

If you want a dash mount EQ with sub level that will IMPROVE the sound of your system, check out the Audio Control "Three.1"

    Closing SOON!
"LAST CHANCE FOR G.A.S." DEAL IS ON NOW

the deck is long gone, I replaced it with a Clarion dxz745mp... But as you can see in the link, I have a seperate sub volume knob that does the trick.

Personally, if I wanted to do aftermarket, I would go for a Clarion 9255. Possibly the ugliest deck ever made, but terrific sound.

Every since I got burned out of a $1300 head unit back in 1990, I do not trust Nak.

I want a "Business Class" cd player from an E36 or E46. I will feed that into an AudioControl 6XS crossover and 3 amplifiers. That crossover will give me a subwoofer level control and absolutely amazing sound quality. Far better than virtually ANY aftermarket deck...and believe me, I am far pickier than anyone you have ever met.

Plus, it is fun being able to kick anyones ass in sound with a "stock" deck.

          Hey Luke,

I have been burning my retinas till late reading this forum and caraudio forum. At first I wanted to replace my Sony cdx-m630 with the same crap, now I'm past that and started to look for a nostalgic (just put a bid) on a Blaupunkt SQR 83 New York Radio (Don't bid against me Guys) no harness (if anyone has one??) but someone said you can make one for the older Blaupunkts. I was looking at a nice Nak cassette but at $165??? I'm sure they where worth tons more new. So maybe for now the NY will do, but I kind a like the Business Class but I want cassette, and a MP3 hook up.
