Anyone interested in a 15" JBL sub

So the PO I bought this car from was really into car stereos, I am actually a little worried what he did to this car electrically. I already know he relocated buttons, and cut a huge 15" hole in my trunk partition. I was half considering leaving it since the hole is there, but really while I like nice sound that is just a bit to much for me. Funny thing is I didnt realize he cut that hole until yesterday when I pulled off the back seat yesterday. There was a carpeted wood panel in the trunk I thought the sub was drilled to that, I was wrong.

Well anyway I have no idea what this thing is worth. I was thinking it may be worth less then it would cost me to ship the thing.

Nope, he took all the amps out. I will be by the car tonight I will see what speakers are in the doors then shoot you an email. I will also see what he put in the back deck.

I would love that woofer. I would put that thing in a huge 20 foot transmission line and have a solid 15hz in my living room.

It's a SVC 4 ohm, so an amp would take some research, but there are plenty of 2 channel amps that will do it

There are some 6.5inch JL audio mids in the door, actually now that I am looking at the pic again it could be 8" I didnt measure yet. I will be pulling those out as well since I dont want huge speakers in my door and I am getting new leather door cards made. I havent checked what he put in the rear yet, and I dont think he has anything in the kick panels.

I hope not! I will be taking the panels off soon I have had zero time to work on the car since its stored at my in laws. I bought new leather covered door panels.

As you remove the door speakers will you post up some photos of the mounting mechanism? I am curious as to how the whole setup went in there.

I also have a speaker fetish. It's good to know that there are more people out there with similar problems. I counted 50something speakers in my house the last time I checked. Half are e30 premium sound speakers. I can't help it, I just love em.
