Tach not working, SI board has been replaced

    Hi guys,

I had a parasitic draw couple months back and it cause was the SI board. I replaced SI board with one from Bav Restoration and everything worked fine until a couple weeks back. It worked intermittently, but today it was completely dead.

I checked for a parasitic draw again and it's only pulling 25mA which so I'm pretty sure it's not the SI board. Any ideas where I should start my diagnosis?

    Thanks
    Ivan

I fixed my intermittent/dead tach and speedo by resoldering all the broken joints in the instrument cluster (there were 3 that clearly needed resoldering). If you have not fully inspected the guts of the cluster, I would start there.
