Just noticed Autozone has their own AGM batteries for $168 for the H6. These may have been around but I don't recall them looking like the ones I saw. Looks like the prices are becoming comparable with premium lead acid batteries or perhaps it's just the lower cost ones are getting more expensive. Anyone know who makes them for Autozone, etc? Anyone have any feedback on parts store AGM batteries?

No feedback, but thanks for the heads up OP. I need to get one of these in my track car. The last flooded acid we had in there only made it through 3 track days before ejecting acid all over the trunk and into the spare well.
One question, do you known if this one has a vent at all? AGM's typically wont have one, which could still be dangerous in our cars as they WILL vent if overcharged or overheated. It is not good at all to have that gas in your cabin/trunk.

I don't think they do. There's also Odessey, Braille and Ohm batteries that are worth looking into. OHM is a newer tech battery that is coming to market. It uses no lead plates so it's very lightweight at around 6lbs! Only problem is they only give 500 Peak CCA. Not sure if this is enough for our cars.
