M-MPH light remains lit with car turned off, key removed, steering wheel locked

I noticed something odd after my wife left the interior light on in my MTech Cabrio and drained the battery.

After I revived the battery the m-mph light on the 13 button OBV remained lit when the car was off. Does anyone have any experience with this problem. I reset OBC and everything else seems to be functioning properly.

One other piece of information. Since the battery was old and a buddy crashed another vert with a new battery I swapped the battery for the new one but the problem persisted

Weird. That light is only supposed to turn on when you set a speed limit and exceed it, right? (I have never used it so I am guessing) If that is the case then I wonder if the limit got set at zero or something and is reminding you that you went faster than zero.

It turns on when it is set. Try clearing it and see if it turns off.

According the manual you simply press m-mph to reset it but that has no effect. The light remains lit. I would have thought disconnecting the batter would have cleared it.

My Mtech did the same exact thing when I bought the car. I ended up getting a replacement 13 button OBC and it fixed the problem. Exact problem your having, just find a cheap replacement would be my 2 cents.
