    Looking for an generic wire option; headlights

    Trying to build new plug and play harnesses for sealed beams to euro lights

    Part numbers would be;
    White Connector; 61-13-1-378-417
    Grey Connector; 61-13-1-378-418
    Yellow Connector; 61-13-1-378-419

    Circular Connector 1.0-2.5 MM²; 61-13-0-007-446
    (This is the bigger wire & recommended)
    Circular Connector 0.5-1.0 MM ²; 61 –13-0-007-445
    (This is the smaller wire)

    I am curious about what I can do for the circular connectors above; They are very expensive OEM. About $7 a piece. At 6 wires a headlight (2 high beam, 2 low, 2 city) that would come to $42 just for wire. Thats a bit much... Is there a replacement? I feel like there has to be a cheap generic equivalent. If this needs to be moved to lighting area let me know.

    Thanks for the help.

    you can always hunt for the connectors at the junkyard. Those circular connectors might be the same as the obc temp sensor connector.

    I went to a junkyard and found the right connectors for my depos, I think they use the same euro connector. Took the plugs off e36s, windshield washer fluid and fog lights maybe? I'm not sure if I recall that correctly. Didn't wire in my city lights though.

      i did the same as what kershaw said. Most of the connectors for lights can be disassembled to leave just the circular connectors. I pulled from e32s and e36s

        E34s also use these connectors. I've been meaning to pull a handful of them when I go to the junkyard just to have and never remember.
