    Sub Install

Most recent addition to the 30. First real addition since I bought this one last year

    Soundstream 850watt RMS 12'' Reference

    Hifonics Brutus Amp 1100 Watt

Custom box made of 3/4 mdf with 2 cubic feet interior volume tuned to 35hz ported through the rear shelf, had to relocate the stock speakers so I made up a quick box for them. Planning on painting the area around the sub a similar color to it and cleaning everything up a bit

Pretty clean sound, no rattles and keeps a TON of the bass in the cabin, which is what I wanted

I can't say I'm a fan of that box you built up to mount the speakers. But it's nice to see someone making their own box tuned to their woofer.

That is why we use the ports through the center of the rear deck, it works really well

I've heard that Luke boxes are the way to go and honestly if I had the room for one I would probably buy one, but like George said, its nice to see someone build one themselves.

I don't think you realize how small their boxes are. They are only 4" deep at the top and 10" at the bottom, and of course, as wide as the trunk is at the back.

I just have something different going there instead. I picked up an auxiliary fuel tank from the South African e30s and some Euro M3s that I'm going to install in my car.

                    Example:

I don't really know why, I got it cheap and I have a little stash of cool and unique parts that I'm installing on my car. Its just a theme I'm going with I guess.

I'd do a tank also if I got it cheap, and I'd prob never have gas in it.
