    design a system around my vintage alpine

    I'm picking up an alpine 7618r with a c.d. changer. What recommendations do you guys have as far as speakers,amp,subs...etc
    My budget is floating between $500-600

    I'm not an audiophile as much as some one chancing a period correct aesthetic

    what can you guys think of?

    I miss the cleaner sound of my old alpine 3553 4ch amp, period correct, made in Japan and sounded far better than my new pioneer amp. Ebay had one last time I checked.
