My E30 doesn't see much daily driver use anymore, but I still take it around town when I am in the mood. Part of the driving experience to me involves very loud and powerful, though still clean, music. My experience with audio setups and all the various bits and pieces is less than impressive, so I come to this sub-forum for advice/guidance.
I finally got back to fooling around with modding the E30 and I want to focus on sound first.
My current setup includes a Sony CDX-GT57UP HU. It has high and low pass filters and one set of component outputs that I currently have ran to the sub.
The sub is an Alpine Type R 12" sub in a ported box powered by an Alpine MRP-M500 Mono sub amplifier (500w RMS). The sub is mounted in what used to be the back seat, between the driver and passenger seats.
And that's its.
My 91 318is' stock speakers were blown/very old, so they have all been discarded. Due to the extreme difficulty of getting to the rear speakers due to the cage, I have opted to only run two front speakers and have no speakers in the rear.
I want to add a 75w RMS 2-channel amp. I am currently eyeing a Blaupunkt THA275PnP, but I am open to suggestions.
I'll be adding a set of 50w (or higher) RMS speakers, and I don't have a brand in mind at the moment.
My questions are:
Any other questions or information you need please let me know. Thanks for your help.

My questions are:
- Will my current HU handle the addition of another amp? Or do I need to upgrade to a newer deck with more outputs?
- What brand would you recommend for the 2 channel amp? Not looking to spend mad money on something.
- Brand of speakers?
