What do you mean with deadbolted?

Looks like a new actuator is pretyy pricey

If you find that the sedan trunk actuator fits, I have a good used one $20+shipping. It will fit in a small USPS mailer, so shipping might not be bad

Either the trunk is deadbolted or the trunk actuator is bad.

It's most likely the trunk actuator.

That's the part that moves the lock.

Hi,

I recently got a 325iX Touring and noticed when I unlock the car at the drivers side door, all doors unlock except the trunk.

When I unlock and lock the trunk, all doors unlock and lock respectively.

What could cause the trunk not unlocking when unlocking the car at the door?

Any help would be appreciated.

(I know I'm already pretty lucky that the doors all lock and unlock on my E30, would be even better if the trunk did too :) )
