Bosch oil pressure gauge immediately maxes out

The back inputs are clearly labeled +, -, S. The ground is daisy chained from the bosch temp gauge and that ground goes to the chassis. The innovate is daisy chained from the oil pressure and it's operating normally.

I tried a new ground and no difference. Bad gauge? How do I test this?

Edit: I tapped the hollow bolt that goes through the oil filter and cooling housing.

I reinstalled it and it works just fine now. No idea what changed.
