    SI board question

Mods, please move this if this is the incorrect area for my question.
Just wondering if the batteries on the SI board need to be charged prior to installation? If so, how do I go about charging batteries that are soldered to a circuit board?!!

I have a reman board with new (date stamped of 2006) batteries.
    thanks in advance
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I'm quite sure they are rechargeable so can be installed as received

If they are lithium ion batteries, they're not rechargeable. They are diode isolated though, so if they fail, they don't cause shorting like the nickle rechargeable batteries did.
