id pick tha panasonic one over clarion, but thats juss preference.. sony xplod decks usually have red lights which arent too far off tha stock dash colors

that panasonic one looks pretty cool. the orange lights will match the interior better than most decks i have seen. PS: sony makes crappy decks.

I have almost no personal experience with decks, so my opinion really means nothing, but I've always liked Clarion decks, while I've always though panasonic stuff looked really cheap and was sub-par.

Panasonic is the only deck I would consider carrying. I hate Clarion for one dumb reason...they turn on the tuner when you eject the CD.

can't say I am a huge fan of either but in that price range I'd avoid Clarion (their cheap stuff isn't exactly anything to write home about)

Only reason why I got this one....Sony may make crappy decks, but I'm inexperienced enough that I have no complaints.

I have an Alpine 9833 and all the buttons and dials are the factory orange :). The LED dispaly is blue though. You can turn off the LED display if you wish and it's just black w/ all orange, looks great! The deck is also 26x4 RMS I believe.

They look pretty OK, seem to have matching colors (not in that shot, duh) have an assload of features...but Blowchunks is the worst company in the entire industry (aside from Alpine) to deal with. 99% of my customers tell me they do not want the whole "Dancing Dolphin Display" on their decks, but most amnufacturers think we want so much gaudy shit in our dashboards...

I just got a 745 and it really is superb. I have an exact (or pretty damn close) match as far as illumiation goes, and I just love the blackness of the face. I can't stand all that silver and chrome shit everyone is plastering all over their designs nowadays. Plus, the entire display matches, not just the buttons. Check it out:

This is the 735, so it's not quite the same, but it's a good example of just how nice it looks. Also, the deck has a really nice setup with the 24-bit D/A converter and the 4V pre-outs. Aux-in is also in there. If I could have had this deck from day one, I would have. You should really check out the eBay auctions for this one, because it's worth it (and it's cheaper than the ones you're eyeing, too :) )
