Definately not my style, looks too fake for me. But I don't understand teh whole TV's in e30's idea.

No way I'd give up the vent, shouldn't drive & watch TV, not a smoker but like the storage given up that was storage/ashtray.

Not a Pioneer fan. Looks like they ripped off Alpine on the hu.

The reason isn't the best, still kind of cool, but I can dig the setup. I think it is very well done and creative.

I like the screen...
But the headunit is horrible, vinyl is too wavy on the flush mount area, and the sides where it meets the console

no thanks. e30's center console is angled the wrong way for that to really look right anyway, besides, it really dates the car and looks ghetto imo hence why I skipped the AVN-7000 and went with a CD-7000

It's nice but I don't think I'd have one unless my car turned into an autobot if touched the wrong way.

Reason? It would be stolen and ripped out of my car in a unkind manner by a piece of human filth.

I like the deck being lower, but I don't like the install on that one.

That is an Alpine head unit. Only Pioneer product is the screen in shot 2. Even the first screen is Apline.

I like my install a lot better. I am biased though too. My car has a but more clean modern feel so it pulls it off nicely. Mine is yet to be completed, havent decided what I am going to finish it in yet. Carbon maybe... First shot is right after initial fabrication and install, 2nd shot is after I put in the DVD player in the HU location and added e36 switches. Mine is 100% controlled through the screen, all dvd functions, full iPod control, sat radio, Nav, Back up camera etc. The screen is also out of my field of view while driving.
