    MS w/ multiple coils

I'm have MS1 v3.0 for my car and I converted my stock coil pack on my M42 to a COP like a m50 a while ago. I'm trying to figure out how to install MS w/ multiple coils and I'm not really getting anywhere

E30tech.com has a megasquirt section. That would provide more answers.

Most of the guys run Wasted Spark or Single Coil setups with MS. I am working on my single coil setup currently. Seriously check out the tech, many very knowledgeable people there willing to help newbs like you and me.

The m42 has no distributor so you need multiple coils.

I dont think MS can handle 6 coils. Im pretty sure there is only enough room for 4 drivers. thats would get waste spark for a v8 but not enough for 6 coils. Basically if MS can handle 6 coil drivers then COP shouldnt be a problem. email diyautotune.com and ask they should have an answer for you.

I knew that, but I Know MS has one ignitor onboard, so you would need to add an additional 3 ignitors. Does the M42 use the same 60-2 VR wheel? If so RPM input will be easy and proven. Look at Matt's wiring diagram on e30tech:

I would assume the procedure would be the same just with an additional igniter.
