How hard is it to DIY.
Franco, I almost always have 4 or 5 Galaxy 5000 in stock...but as of saturday, I have none.

Let me get some on order, I will PM you a price. Figure under $100 shipped, including relays and an extra LED if you want it.

I can prewire, but you would have no issues at all doing it yourself.

Thanks. But, I live in athens. But I wouldn't mind driving to atlanta if someone is going to help me install my alarm system(once I get it). Heck, I would even pay him to do it. Thanks Luke.

If worse comes to worse, you can always get one of those $79 self contained alarm systems with a simple 2-wire hookup.

Exactly why I need luke to help me take out an overly complicated, old, and sensitive viper unit from my car.

Are you attempting to prevent your car from being stolen or do you want to know if someone is breaking into it?

The only thing that I dont like about car alarms is that once they are triggered, its not like people are going to come running from out of the woodwork to see what's going on. Most people will say, "Oh, that's someone's annoying car alarm!"

The cheapest and most effective solution for me was installing a flashing light on the dash and a starter kill switch. Sometimes it can be wired to the headlight switch or like in my case, I wired it to the child safety lock button on the center console.

Sorry, I did not know. I don't hang out on these forums much. I'm mostly on e30tech.
