Dunno, haven't seen it installed yet, but it and the 9887 allow the blue buttons to be red as well. Granted that red can look pink, but essentially all buttons can be red, and it has high pass filter. Plus I fanagled a local shop to give it to me for under 250$.

I'm going to order one too, but would like to hear opinions first and would like to see what it looks like in the E30 also. The alpine would either replace my clarion 745 in the BMW or go in my Jeep Cherokee

Have you used the 9885 yet? any pics? I ordered one and I have yet to see what it looks like in an e30.

haha, I know what you're talking about the cables.
At work, we spent $11k on cables in our listening room. This was at 85% off retail and they said they were still making money. STUPID CABLES

I do have high hopes for this thing. Figure both of his amps at retail together are less than retail on my smaller amp...his woofer is half the price of my RCA cables, and about 1/3rd of the price of my woofer...yet I expect the thing to sound 97% as good.

Time will tell.
