but I brought all my stero equipment from My m-tech car back to the states. And my amp that was in the car is a Pioneer GM-1200 70w+70w unit bridgeable. Is this a halfway decent amp and where should I draw power por it in the trunk? I want to make it switch on when the stero comes on.

Since we're lucky and the batterys are in the trunk, just get an amp power kit with inline fuse and connect it dirrectly to the battery.
