Oh, I have no problem building the harness, its just all that stupid shit soldering to the board.

I'll buy the 12' labeled harness and a pre-built V3. As long as all I have to do is wire it into the car and tune i'm fine. If not I'm buying an Electromotive Tec-3R.

the easiest way is to buy a pre built V3 board and the DIYautotune adapter - build the board, plug it into your harness and MS unit, and start tuning. :)

I wouldn't advise going with the v3.57 SMD board - although it is built very well, it's more difficult to modify and I don't think the extra cost is really justifiable.

    Thats weak!

I think I might go with a pre-built MS unit. I want a 2-step and no Air flow meter.

no, not unless you also buy a maf kit

don't be fooled, this is just a SMT6 piggy back that's been built into the motronic case. it's fairly slick, but it comes with all the limitations of a piggy back computer and motronic.

I got an e-mail back and you can't eliminate the air flow sensor, you can only convert to MAF from AFM.

I e-mailed them and asked if it does.

You can make a 2 step revlimiter if you want, with the switchable maps you can just run a duplicate of your map with a different rev limit, just make the switch your clutch switch.

Seems like an expensive test. Maybe you can just e-mail Miller?

I think it's a great unit for people afraid of electronics (not something to be ashamed of - that's 90% of people on this board)

I can see that unit having a great advantage over a regular MS unit. Only cause the case is painted. That means its going to last a very long time.

I wonder if this is for the V6 Mustang?

it is a piggyback system in a motronic box and is based on the Perfect Power unit.

well the smt6 has ignition capability. There is a thread over on e30zone.co.uk about it, where somebody figured out what was actually in the miller ecu. But it has to use the stock style cpu, if you can take any old aftermarket chip and still use it in there MMS1.3 ecu.
