I'm willing to bet that lightning audio amp is as good as any pioneer you'll drop in there. Lightning has been in the biz for years; they make some of the best wiring and accessories for car audio.

The silver RF 2 ch. amp powers my 2 DVC 10" RF subs, the black RF 4 ch. amp powers my infinity kappa components, and rear speakers. The RF cap is a standard 1 farad.

Custom sealed box, sounds great, no rattles, lots of clear/tight bass... All in all I'm very pleased with this set up.

Probably exactly what my setup is going to look like.

I don't care about big giant stereo systems, I just want something that sounds good.

More stereo euipment = more weight = fuck that.

Plus it's a pain to rip out everytime you autocross or whatever. I just got a 2x150 Polk MOMO amp and I'm going to put a couple of 6 1/2" midbass in the doors. Should sound nice. Bass no longer interests me as I've kind of grown out of it, I just want something with full sound that I can hear over the exhaust with the windows down on the highway.

Bass (frequencies below 100hz or so) is an integral part of 'full sound'. However, too many people with them don't care about integrating them into their sound system, they only car about popping their eyeballs out of their heads.
