    6.5in Kickpanel pods finished.

I spent about 10hours total on these. I think they turned out well. About $30 investment to make the pods and wrap them in vinyl. I will end up taking them back off shortly to cover the actual stock kickpanels with the same vinyl to make them match, and to cover up the small visible part of the old speaker grill.

Speakers housed are MB Quart RWC160's (6.5in) midbass.

Glovebox and hood pull are not interfered with in any way, all that is sacraficed is a little foot room, and the dead pedal.

    that looks sweet.

Jordan, where did you get your pedals and dead pedal? I've been looking for a set that has no logos on eBay but they all have the ///M or ACS logo.

      Hey Jordan,
Any more pics. I'm designing something just like it, just never had the time to make it yet. I love it, sweet.

          Damn those look nice!

I'll have to make something similar when I get my 3-way comp set.

            Damn!

I just spent 2 days F-ing around in my car installing some 6.5's (had to keep stopping because of rain/lack of light/injuries)

I might just rip it all out and do this.

Good job Jordan...I will try and find you a head unit this weekend. I have like 10 decks in storage, I am gonna go there anyway.

Thanks Luke, but I'm buying a Pioneer from TJ. I already stole my Alpine back from the M3, and put it in my e30.

Sounds crisp, clear, and beautiful. Needs more bass.

What did you use for the post to hold it out? Also, what did you hold the whole thing together with? I need to make something similar for my car.

Wrapped the kickpanels with the same vinyl, and gave the floor a good vacuuming.

Where'd you get that vinyl? It felt really nice, and it looks excellent to boot.

Jo-ann's in Albany. They prolly have 4-6 yards left, on sale for $8.99.

It is VERY high quality shit.

i don't really want to make those but exactly what is the process.

what is that green stuff and how did it harden or whatever you did with it. cause it looks to have molded really nicely.

The green stuff is fleece. It is much easier to stretch to odd shapes then fiberglass cloth.

To make it hard, just brush on fiberglass resin until it is fully saturated. I did 1 coat inside, and 2 coats outside. end result is pretty strong.

I stood on one of the pods, and I'm just shy of 220lbs. Pod was not harmed. I dont think anyone kicking it is going to hurt it in the least.
