    RCA cables

I am looking for an affordable set of RCAs for around $20 each, what brands should I be looking at?

EDIT: My parts car had RCA's that said "Esoteric" on the connectors, are these any good? I have a Monster cable RCA now, but I need another one, and Monster Cable changed the connector style. I need all the connectors to look the same.

Esoteric makes some damn good products. But just like most other cable companies, they make REALLY nice stuff and some half-decent stuff.

If you go to www.carmedia1.com - they have VERY cheap DEI cables that are VERY nice. 'DrMcDave' just got some for his set up. They're like $20 for a 16 foot RCA that would run you $50+ at a retail outlet. I'm going to get some there soon, I highly suggest you do the same; it's the best bang for your buck.

Cables and such are the highest profit of anything in a stereo store. I like to see 75% or more profit. Feel free to expect a HUGE discount off of them. I can sell them to you at a really good price, but availability is spotty. Monster costs me more, but Stinger comes from Arizona, so shipping takes a bit.

Monster makes a cable called 401XLN. Stinger makes a cable called "Dream Series".
Both of these cables sound terrific and perform great, excellent niose rejection.
They are exactly the same product, except for jacket color. Made in the same plant with the same stuff.

What are you talking about? Are you saying you can sell me RCA's for cheap, at a discount or something? I am confused.

I already ordered a set of DEI cables anyways, the ones that Ken showed me.

I got some generic ace hardware gold plated LR audio/Video connectors.

I use the L and R on each for front and rear channels, and the Video on each for my LR subwoofer.

works well *thumbs up* sounds good. They were pretty cheap too. like 5$ each.

I highly doubt they are even comparable to the ones above. You should have dropped the $20 on some nice ones.

                *shrugs*

I don't care a whole lot. Considering the amount of background noise when you're in a car travveling around, it won't make a huge amount of difference. I have some mb quartz' up front, that were in there from thep revious owner that i know nothing about, and i paid 30$ for some cheapo crossfire components off of ubid. ITs all being powered by a 600.4 PPI Amp however.. LOL.

Long as it sounds good to my ears and can be loud without distorting, i'm happy.

i spent 600$ all in all, including head unit, amp, and rears, and about 50$ in wiring crap (connectors, cable, etc)

If i was going for uber high quality car audio, i would go all out. But since i've been using a stock JEtta Headunit for 2 years before i got my car, anythign at this point is like a heavenly upgrade for me :)
