flip out screen idea.

personally, i dont have a desire for one, but i remember some ppl had them, and had trouble with the screen hitting the wiper stalk when it folds out. well, anyway, my idea was for you to swap to a RHD center console radio panel. as you can see from the pic, our clock/obc is on the left.



if you (LHD guys) put one of these in, it would offset the headunit, and give more clearance. also, vice verca for RHD guys. either that, or get one the variation that deletes the clock and sits the headunit in the center.

anyhoo, just a moment of clarity whilst perusing the ETK. thought it might help.

That wouldnt work.

You cant just flip it over... as the edges of the panel arent symentrical, and one edge is made to nterlock with the cover that goes below the gauge cluster.

Do you see the round plug just to the right of his ash tray? Thats it right there. It removes the cigg lighter and just puts a plug in it's place.

nope, that's the cigar lighter delete... he said obc delete which deletes the O.B.C. and centers the radio, something needed if you want a flip out screen, otherwise it hits the stalks.
