Just got done installing this sucker a little while ago. Little bit of a pain since I decided to cut the CD changer cable down to about 3 feet long so it would fit behind the dash. Then all I had to do was connect the little 3 pin power supply (and iBus wire) to the radio harness. Easy peasy. I had a little trouble with getting it to accept everything and actually play the iPod. From what I am doing, you have to turn on the radio, then the iPod. Weird.
The only thing I don't like about it, is that the iPod cable is literally 25 ft long. Why? Is someone planning on running it around their car a couple of times and then running it into the cabin? I just coiled it up and zip-tied it out of the way.
I will NEVER use one of those shitty FM transmitters ever again. There is so much of a difference. I was honestly surprised at how much of a difference there was. The good thing about the Peripheral is that you can still use the clicker wheel on the iPod to navigate and change songs/play lists.
Next on the to-do list is get myself a set of A/D/S front components, A/D/S amp, and a decent sounding 10" sub.
