Code!!!
Hi guys, I just got an e30 86. and i turned on the car and everything work but the radio. it says code on it?? So I was wondering if anyone had the code for the radio??

Call the dealer and give them the serial number on the unit and ask them for one.- Trey

Keep in mind the radio may not be original, so you may have to partially remove it and get the serial numbers from the back instead of relying on the VIN
Once you obtain the Code, the radio may not accept the Code.
If that happens, turn the key to the first "On" position, leave the key in that position for 1 hour, then try the Code again and it should work.sigpic
