Just saw this thread, looking good. FYI, the front premiums are rated at 40w.

Hey Will. Thanks, hopefully they don't burn up, but I should be ok.

Finished the guibo last night, BTW, so now it's time for interior removal and lay some sound deadening and wires.

I'll have a grinding wheel and POR-15 in case I come across any surface rust once i pull the carpet.

One question. When i am cutting the carpet around the heater core, is there anything I need to worry about underneath or can i just cut away?

Did you ever finish this build? Curious how those eD woofers worked out.

shouldnt be any wires under the heatercore, cut so that you can pull it out from the steering coloumn and behind the heater core cut it as close to the middle from the passenger side as you can.

That way you can shove it back in when u have to and the most nuggeted side will be the passenger.

Least thats how i did it the first time. Second time i didnt cut it then i got pissed off when i tried to put it in without cutting and cut it dodgily so sorta wrecked that carpet lol

*oops, i guess Levent was logged in...

Lol, no, never got around to this. Ended up selling my E30 before moving out here to NJ.

I still have the e3.6's though. I'm actualy using one to put under the rear seat of my bro's e28. Can't wait to hear it!
