How to remove Defrost & Hazard buttons

Any tips on how to remove these buttons to get to the 2 screws without damaging/scratching the buttons?

I strongly suggest removing a blank panel with something like a suction cup for optimal results, as this allows you to push the buttons out from behind.

Alternately, use a plastic trim tool and go after the switch that wiggles the most and then proceed as above.

All I do is pop my radio out far enough to where I have enough clearance to push out one of the buttons from the back with my finger. Easy peasy.
