Strange window problem

Hi. Not sure if this is the correct place for this but I had the starter motor changed by a local garage as I was broken down right outside their shop. When I got the car back I noticed some strange issues. With the ignition on all my windows work and the electric mirrors work. As soon as I start the car they don’t work. Google tells me it has something to do with the unloader relays but I haven’t found a solution on fixing the issue. Other than taking the car back to the garage. Any ideas anyone. Wrong starter? Badly wired?

The car is a 1990 e30 325i convertible.

Take it back to the shop. They either ordered the wrong starter/solenoid or didn't connect the smaller wires correctly or at all. The wires can break as well when they torque the nuts back.

I will do that. Unfortunately their hours are not fixed due to the COVID situation. Trying to get them is not easy. Thanks.

In that case, have a look yourself. Disconnect the battery and have a look at the connections on the starter solenoid. Check the 2 smaller wires in particular.
