Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I got Stabilus-Boge 3262LH shocks for the trunk. Also under Sachs part no. SG302004. They are 181 N shocks. Made for the e30 cabrio. Under $20 ea. They are perfect...pop trunk lid up fully open. AutohausAZ has them. If I'm not mistaken, Stabilus, Sachs, Boge, and LiftoMat are all same manufacturer.
